Because usually people do extreme exercise then, when they reach their goals, they quit. I will share painless and healthy ways with you to lose weight weather it is 5 lbs or a 100 lbs. Drink 8 glasses of water everyday why? When your body needs to flush toxins and fat, it is important to have enough fluid to remove them. Urine is 96% water and 4 % soluble waste. So if there is not enough fluid to release the toxins or fat, it will stay and make us gain weight. Drink water with every meal. It will fill you up quicker and help you not overeat. So you will be satisfied. Snack between meals Indulge in a fresh orange or apple, they are negative food. Because an orange has 70 calories, but it will take around 100 calories for your body to turn it into energy. Don’t drink Pop. If it has sugar in it It is addictive and will make you crave sugar. Drink diet drinks so you will not add fattening empty calories. Tea or Coffee Tea or Coffee are okay, but if you load them with sugar and cream they will doom your diet. Fruit Juice Yes or No Fruit Juice is not good for you because of all the sugar. If you want to enjoy fruit, eat fruit. It will help you lose weight, But juice will not. Fruits and Water Feed yourself fresh fruit that has high water concentrate, such as tomatoes, watermelons, cantaloupe, kiwi, grapes, or oranges. You get the idea. These foods will fill you up and help you succeed in achieving your lifestyle goal. Vegetables Have lots of vegetables at least two servings at dinner. Greens are very healthy and will keep you on the right track to losing all the weight you want and you will never feel hungry. Salads are great to, as long as you don’t use to much dressing, or they can be as bad as junk food if it has too much dressing. Important warning There are many diets that consist of 1200 calories or less, but they may actually lead to weight gain. They can cause a condition known as Weight plateaus. Your body will go into a starvation mode. It happens when your body thinks you are starving so your body actually withholds calories for later use. So, in effect , you could actually gain weight as a result. Always Eat Breakfast Eat simple, like some eggs with mushrooms If you want flavor use salsa. Fresh fruit is good. Coffee will help you lose weight as long as it dosen’t have a lot of sugar and cream. Replace unhealthy snack with healthy ones. Try skipping a candy bar have a yogurt or Orange , apples, bananas, carrots they will all help you achieve your goal. As your change your habits you will see results. Weight To lose one pound you have to reduce your calories by 3500. That is what it will take to lose one pound. Example If I drank two 20 oz. Pepsi’s everyday and replace them with a diet drink, in one week I could lose 1lb. That is just making a small change. Just think how much weight I would lose if I was trying. If I continued this I could lose 52lbs in a year . That is a lot. You did not gain it overnight so you will not lose it overnight. Exercise When I first started to exercise if, I would have tried to walk 5 miles I would have given up. So I started easy, I walked around the block then two blocks and on and on. Whatever exercise you do will help you lose weight. Find something that you will want to do. You will be successful. Skipping meals It is a myth that skipping meals will help you lose weight It never works. Your body will put away the calories and hold onto them. Eat only when you are hungry Try to eat three regular meals a day and 2 snacks per day so you will not be hungry and your body will use more calories. Finding the right diet I found that I could not find a diet that would help me change my lifestyle. I needed help to make a permanent change to have permanent weight loss. I decided to make my own diet, so that I can achieve my goal. I used a calorie book to find foods that I liked to be able to succeed. I chose 2,000 calories a day. So I can safely lose 1 lb a week and keep it off. Here are some foods that will help you with your goals. Apples 1 cup 65 calories Banana 1 approximate 70 calories Bean sprouts 1 cup 30 calories Corned beef 3 oz. 185 cal. These are just a few of the foods Get a calorie book and you can make your own diet program. Three meals and two snacks will help you lose weight and you will never feel hungry. Why do diets fail? I had toxemia and was having problems with my pregnancy . My son was born with Triploidy. There had been two documented cases of this raRE condition One child lived 9 days and the other lived 5 1/2 months My son was gonna die. I blamed myself and suffered so I hated myself. I wanted to die. I was with my son his 4 1/2 months he lived. The doctors ridiculed me and said to me my son was taking up a bed where a child who would live coud be. My son was a wasted space. Everyday the docotrs would tell me he was gonna die. I knew that I was beside myself. I watched my son waste away. It killed me and people had te nerve to say well you only had him 4 months you can have another. Like he was a car or something that could easily be replaced. I never had anymore children never again. HiI am roxanne . I am a college student. I have three son's. Two are disabled. I am in college. I am studying to become a Pharmacy Technician /Medical assistant. I am starting over spent my time taking care of my son's starting to live for myself again. I am beginning again. I raised my kids now it's time to for me to start my life over. I am a widow. Been since 1994. I am creating myself again.
